Leading ICT Institution in the Southwest Region, King Black Welfare Association has signed a Memorandum of Association with the Cameroon Association Of Media Professionals, CAMP.
During the same event, the institution also graduated its 12th batch of trainees since its inception.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions aims at Fostering Digital Literacy For Members of the CAMP.
This MoU shall see CAMP members benefit intensive computer literacy training and graphics from King Black.
CAMP on the other hand shall provide media consultancy services and event management expertise to her partner.
The MoU was signed by CAMP National President, Solomon Agborem on behalf of CAMP, while the CEO of King Black Welfare Association, Clement Devella took the engagement for his organization.
The double events took place at the Limbe Botanical Gardens recently in the presence of parents, trainer, trainees and partners.
Nugang Clement, CEO of King Black Welfare Association said his institution has been giving study scholarships for the less privileged since inception and have trained over 1500 Cameroonians from all walks of life and created over 800 jobs from 2008 till date.
“Let us open our hearts and hands across the city of Limbe to build new relationship that will give meaning to lives of many and in our own little way join President Paul Biya to achieve vision 2035.” Nugang Clement said.
He is optimistic that, he believes the 30 trainees will be productive in the job market, and they will continue to partnership with government and the private sector to construct a modern befitting bilingual ICT school of excellence in order to help many more youths especially the physical challenged.
On his part, Hon. Charles Eyoum Sama told the students that, they made the right choice to get into ICT in which they have the whole wide world in their hands and urged them to equip themselves with profitable skills to become job creators.
“So tell me dear grandaunts what will you use the skills you have acquired from King Black will you use them positively for the good or for the good of your community.” Hon. Charles Eyouma Sama quizzed.
He urged the grandaunts to use the skills profitably and positively at all times. And they should uphold the tenants of peace, patriotism, peaceful coexistence and National integration. She added that it’s only in this environment that they can succeed.
Hon. Eyoum told the students to be good ambassadors of King Black association wherever they find themselves.
He urged the students to be innovative, more trust worthy and more responsible wherever they find themselves in future.
On his part, the representative of the Divisional Delegate of Employment and Vocational training encourage the grandaunts never to stop learning that the day they stop learning then they will certainly die. He also assured the them that the doors of Divisional Delegation of Employment and Vocational training center widely open, to assist them further their career.
On her part Akeh Maxceline who spoke on behalf of the graduates said they have learned the importance of discipline and good sportsmanship. Through activities like participating in seminars, learn team work to achieve common goals, and had a lot of fun doing it.

King Black Welfare Association is an accredited vocational training centre that promotes women and youth empowerment through computer training and self- reliance projects for social change.
Since inception in 2008, King Black Welfare Association has been granting training scholarships to many less privileged youths of the community and nation who have studied diverse ICT programs in the institution making them to become self-reliant.
The Institution focuses on skill training and employment opportunities for all.
King Black Welfare Association also provides computer repairs services to both corporate and home users as a means to generate income to sustain their training activities.
The results so far tells them that they are on the right track and will surely succeed.
Its headquarters is in Limbe, Fako Division, South West Region – Cameroon with some consultant co-members in Douala and other towns.
